Well I think this place is the bee's knees(lol) ^^ I've hated Aeris since I was 14...and that's 10 years ago so my hatred for her goes way back. The ppl arguing that Aeris is awesome or whatever are obviously not in the right place, i'm sure there are plenty of Aeris loving clubs out there, you can go there and like her all you want lol. So yeah, rock on for hating Aeris, I always hated how she threw herself at Cloud every opportunity she got, I mean COME ON, they're trying to save the world, couldn'
t she think of a better timing?!?!? Plus I always despised the girly helpless white mage type, ROCK ON FIGHTER CHICKS, we need more of those in video games, seriously. so yeah that was my rant on how much Aeris sucks, could go on much longer but i'll spare you.

You guys can hate who you like (I personally LOVE her), but I just have to say, Aeris, while a mage type, was more hopeful and had a stronger will than Tifa. I remember when they learned the pillar was going to fall, and Tifa was like, "Oh no, everyone's going to die, we're doomed, there's nothing we can do!", and Aeris was like,"No, we have to have hope, we can still make it!". Will is stronger than power.

But anyways, like and dislike who you want, I don't have anything rude to say, it's your choice, I just had to say that. XP

well as you said, I also have nothing rude to say, but I fully disagree. I think Tifa was the strongest one, always kept their goal of saving the planet in sight, even if it meant keeping her feelings for Cloud a secret. On the other hand, Aeris seemed more concerned with dating and having a good time(for the example, the way she completely ignores Barret's sadness at Gold Saucer to go and have fun), but that's just the way I see things.Of course, she did play a big part in saving the planet, which clearly isn't a bad thing, it's just the personality of her character that bugs me, I never really liked the sweet innocent type. Tifa has a strong will, she manages to save Cloud in the life stream, she fights to the end for her friends and the man she loves and thats the kind of person I wish I could be.

Uhm? So you said Aerith died only for Cloud? She died for all of that world. Because she knew she had a great materia and she could speak with the Planet so she left alone to save that world. Tifa is some one who go down after all. She only can said "This time never can come again" before the last battle. She tried to save Cloud at last but remember, please, Aerith is the one who save ALL the Planet at LAST. Her wish became true, the lifetream protected the planet and Aerith's smile at the end say it all. One more, the white materia become green, Nomura said that when a wish come true, white Materia turn to green so if Aerith didn't left alone to make her wish, that Planet would be destroyed.

oh and I think a bunch of people didn't read up there where it says : if you like aeris get the fuck off...easy enough to understand.
